Associated developments

The station construction has provided a catalyst for transit-oriented development in the surrounding area.

As part of the modifications to Leach Highway interchange to accommodate the station, shared path underpasses have been constructed on the western side of the freeway, allowing safe, grade separated bike and pedestrian access under Leach Highway.

The RAAF Association retirement home on the south-east boundary of the station site will be redeveloped, incorporating some high-rise development.

The Noalimba Accommodation and Conference Centre on the south-west boundary of the station site was demolished and redeveloped for low- and medium-density residential.
